With car #5403 set out on the main, the crew still has more shuffling around to do before I have to leave. I would have loved to hang around and watch them finish the job and follow them back to Baldwinsville, NY. I've been trying for a long time to catch these guys here and document the operation, but until today I was unlucky. Birds Eye says that they're closing this facility within the next year or so, and I've also heard that as a result CSX might "cut the line back" to Baldwinsville.......Bummer! |
