Roughly two hours after leaving Gang Mills the train passes through Himrod Junction at 18:22. The track that goes to the right descends from here, turns, and goes under the track that this train is on, and into the village of Watkins Glen. Last I knew, the Finger Lakes RR hauled salt out of Watkins Glen on this trackage. |

A couple of CN engines power a westbound tanker train on CSX's New York-Chicago double track main. They're on track 1 as they pass through Jordan, NY this afternoon. The top of that utility pole in the background behind the lead unit turned what could have been a good photo into a lousy one! Oh well, I was happy to catch them anyway. |
