| Fellow contributor Jack Jakeman paid me a visit today to do some railfanning in central New York. He knew this westbound train was on the way, so we searched for a spot that would be favorable for less than ideal lighting. We settled on this field off of Towpath Rd. behind the Weedsport Speedway. When you're looking east down the tracks at 09:50 in the morning the sun is kinda in your face, so stepping back to the south is about the best you can do here; and so here it is......... the K693-24! And to think that 10 minutes before it came through I was gonna head into the village for a snack; Jack strongly suggested that we stay-put.......good call!!! |
