Railfanning after work today was like the old days for me; no plan, no scanner, and a cheap camera! I got out of work and headed for the Belle Isle siding to see if anything was there, as I was gettin' close I could see the tail end of a string of tankers headin' east around the end of Onondaga Lake near the Carousel Mall. I changed course and headed straight for CP286 to wait it out.........Nothing. Started heading back westward for home and then saw this! |

Earlier today I was headed for Binghamton when I saw this train a couple miles north of Marathon, NY. I got turned around and set-up at a crossing in Preble and waited about 30 minutes......no train. I had some other business to take care of, and by the time I got back on "track", this is where I caught them at five past noon! They're crossing Jamesville-Apulia Rd. in the town of Fabius here. |
