Description:  It's 13:48 and they're moving back over to the north side of US route 20. From there they'll park it and take a long overdue lunch break. At this point I decided to head back to Utica with hopes of catching "The MAN" coming back to town. I would have chased this job back to Utica, but they would'nt be doing that today. The crew only has about two more hours before they "outlaw"; not enough time to even finish what needs to be done here, let alone the trip back!

Description:  Every day begins with sorting the cars out from how CSX delivered them. At this point the train is all set up into three blocks: box cars for New Hartford, a bulkhead flat for New York Mills, and covered hoppers for Sangerfield. Soon they'll run the power around and head long hood forward up Schuyler Street.

Description:  Suzie-Q stops local motorists as they shove across routes 12 & 5 with five boxcars. You can see how the crossing is protected by signals on the asphalt and the railroad. Although it may not look like it, the signal for the railroad here is amber; digital photo technology does'nt do well with this type of light.
